We are the Hero of our own Story

This is your story so strive to be your own hero.  Start with opening a word processor and typing out the name of one of your heroes and the characteristic(s) you respect about them.  Heroes can be anyone: friends, family, public figures, celebrities, characters in films/novels/video-games, imaginary friends, you-ten-years-from-now :-P   ..you get the point.  It doesn’t matter why you respect them, just that you look up to this person.

But Seriously, Stop reading until you open a word processor.

Next, visualize waking up tomorrow with this trait as an inherent part of your being.  How would you approach yesterday’s situations differently?  How will you approach today’s situations differently?  How do you feel seeing yourself react to these situations?

Then, repeat with another hero, and another, and another.  Do as many as you want.

    Here’s my list(so far…):

    Richard Branson – Genuine fun-loving

    Will Smith – Work Ethic

Steve Pavlina – Innate dedication to growth and personal development

    Me-ten-years-from-now – Courage

Tobias Hallwood – Ability to connect with absolutely anyone

Put this list someplace where you’ll see it everyday and be inspired to go through it, such as your bathroom mirror or night table.  Go over it every morning after you wake up or every night before you go to sleep, or both.

Show us your list in the comments below.

    Ciao,

    Andrew
